Dal bhaat

Dal bhaat is a simple, light, and easy-to-make dish. It is basically a light and flavorful lentil soup infused with lots of vegetables and served with some hot rice.

Thukpa

Thukpa is a spicy noodle soup that is
highly nutritious and wholesome. The soup
is infused with fresh locally grown vegetables like celery, cauliflower, carrots, spinach, and bell peppers.

Sel roti

Sel roti is a ring-shaped fried sweet bread that is prepared with rice flour and infused with the subtle flavors of cardamom. You can enjoy sel rotis with some yummy potato curry.

Sinki

Sinki is made with radish taproots. The
sliced roots are placed into a container full
of bamboo and then pressed over with
straw. It is then covered with mud and
plants to ferment for a month.

Momos

Momos are a Tibetan delicacy with
influences from Nepalese cuisine. It's a steamed flour bun with different fillings
inside like vegetables, and paneer, and
is best enjoyed with hot chutney.
