Poee

Poee or poi is one of the most famous Portuguese-inspired bread found in Goa.
It is quite similar to pita bread. It has a fluffy interior and was originally made with local coconut palm wine.

Vindaloo

Vindaloo is a meat dish that is marinated
in vinegar and garlic. It is traditionally pork-based, but you can find a chicken, lamb,
or even seafood variation, sometimes
with potatoes.

Crab xec xec

Crab xec xec is a thick curry made with
grated coconut and strong roasted spices.
If you love seafood, you'll love this aromatic
and scrumptious Goan crab curry served
mostly with rice.

Kingfish

Also called vison or visvan, kingfish is a
must-try in Goa. You get it fried, grilled,
and curried. The kingfish rawa fry has a
crispy coating on the fish fillets with a
succulent interior.

Bebinca

Bebinca is a layered cake the Goans derived
from Portuguese cuisine. Traditionally, the
cake has anywhere from 7 to 16 layers.
It is a popular Christmas delicacy.
