Eat food in its natural state
Food should look like it does in nature. Include whole grains, nuts, seeds, fruits, veggies, dairy, etc. in your diet. The healthiest food is usually one without labels.
Reduce sugar
Sugar is not just a white refined one. It comes under many names like high-fructose corn syrup, maltodextrin, dextrose, and sorbitol. It's best to steer clear of sugar to stay fit.
Chew slowly
Chew your food well and avoid gulping down big chunks. Your body will better absorb the nutrients of your food if you chew it well and if you're in a relaxed state.
Eat quality food
Eating seasonal ingredients has more nutritional value. The more you prefer non-seasonal foods, the more are your chances of being treated with chemicals or/and preservatives.
Skip refined products
Refined white products like bread and pasta are devoid of the outermost layer of the grain, which is where the good stuff is. Hence, they don't have anything but calories.
