Lauki ka daalna

Saute peppercorns, cinnamon, cloves, cumin seeds, black cardamom, & fenugreek seeds in ghee. Add green chilies, chopped lauki, & salt. Cook until tender. Add milk & sugar. Serve hot.

Lauki ki sabzi

Saute cumin seeds, garlic, & green chilies in ghee. Add chopped bottle gourd, turmeric & chili powder, & mix well. Add salt and cook for four-five minutes. Serve hot with parathas.

Lauki dosa

Blend chopped lauki with some water to form a smooth paste. Add rice flour, semolina, salt, water, & green chilies to it & mix well to form a dosa batter. Cook in oil until brown and crisp.

Stuffed lauki

Cut hollow lauki discs. Marinade with lemon, chili powder, & garam masala. Saute cumin, onion, tomato, chilies, ginger, garlic, coriander, paneer, salt, & pepper. Stuff & bake for 20 min.

Lauki ka halwa

Saute margarine, butter, and grated bottle gourd. Reduce them & add jaggery. Boil soy milk & chopped almonds in a pan. Add the milk mixture to the lauki & mix. Serve hot.
