'Wonder Woman 3' stands canceled

Intro

James Gunn and Peter Safran, the new honchos of DC Studios, are working toward reshaping the future of the banner. Per a new report, the already-announced 'Wonder Woman 3' has been shelved.

News

Per reports, Gunn and Safran aim to conclude Zack Snyder's DCEU. Warner Bros. and Snyder's visions never matched as the latter wanted to make darker movies and the former wanted colorful ones.

Details

Per 'THR,' director Patty Jenkins was aware of the recent developments. Apparently, Jenkins had finished the outline of the story. However, it's not known if lead star Gal Gadot was aware, too.

More scrappings

Besides 'WW 3,' 'Man of Steel 2' is also no longer happening, per reports. DC will end the 'Aquaman' series with the second film. Further, 'Black Adam' is unlikely to get a sequel.
