Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and his cabinet are scheduled to watch the tax-free film 'The Kerala Story' at a special screening on Friday.

UP government declared the film tax-free

After MP, the UP government declared the film tax-free while West Bengal banned it. Earlier, 'The Kashmir Files' was also declared tax-free in UP.

'The Kerala Story' team met the CM

The team of 'The Kerala Story' met with the CM in Lucknow and requested him to watch the movie, following which a special screening has been organized on Friday.

Makers thanked the CM

Film's director Sudipto Sen, producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah, and lead actor Adah Sharma met CM Adityanath to thank him for making the film tax-free in the state.

Box office numbers

The Bollywood film, which was released on May 5, has collected Rs. 68.86 crore within a week and is expected to reach Rs. 100 crore mark soon at the box office.

Film releasing worldwide

The movie will be re-released in at least 37 countries, a week after its India release, as confirmed by Sharma on Instagram.
