'SNL' targets Britney Spears

Britney Spears's manager Cade Hudson and others have criticized a recent 'SNL' skit where Chloe Fineman parodied the singer's memoir, 'The Woman In Me.'

Hudson slams SNL

Hudson wrote on Instagram, 'Wow. The writers of SNL are getting worse and worse. SNL is on life support. You all are pathetic and this Chloe [Fineman] isn't funny.'

Skit

In the skit, Fineman impersonated Spears and showcased some actors auditioning to voice her book. The skit is about over three minutes long.

Other participating actors

Timothée Chalamet, Punkie Johnson, Kenan Thomposon, and Bowen Yang, among others, were also a part of the skit.

'SNL's tone-deaf history

This is not the first time 'SNL' has faced backlash for tone-deaf content, with previous incidents involving body-shaming and mocking disabilities.
