Remembering actor Vivek's best roles

Intro

Actor, comedian, and singer Vivek passed away on April 17, 2021, due to heart failure. He infused life into many movies with his comic timing. We revisit some of his most memorable roles.

'Sivaji: The Boss'

Vivek's role as Arivu in the movie 'Sivaji: The Boss' won him the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Comedian. The movie was directed by S Shankar.

'Kuruvi'

Vivek won ITFA Best Comedian Award for his role as Ops in the 2008 movie 'Kuruvi,' which starred Vijay and Trisha. The film can now be streamed on Amazon Prime Video.

'Vedi'

'Vedi,' distributed by Sun Pictures and directed by Prabhu Deva, was a remake of the Telugu movie 'Souryam.' Vivek won ITFA Best Comedian Award for his performance in the movie.

'Velaiilla Pattadhari'

Vivek played the role of Azhagusundaram, the assistant of the protagonist (Dhanush) in 'Velaiilla Pattadhari,' which won him a SIIMA Award for Best Comedian.
