Odisha Govt. waives tax on 'Zwigato'

Tax waived off

On Wednesday, CM Naveen Patnaik's Office tweeted, "[The] CM has approved a proposal to waive the ent. tax for 'Zwigato', a film based on the struggling life of a food delivery boy."

Odisha's initiative 

The Odisha Government aims to promote shooting to boost tourism and employment for youth. Patnaik also praised Das for promoting Odisha as a destination for shooting commercial movies.

'Zwigato'

'Zwigato' is about an ex-factory manager who becomes a food delivery agent post-pandemic. It premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last year and was released on March 17.
