NCPCR issued a notice to Sony TV for airing 'inappropriate content' on 'Super Dancer 3,' seeking an explanation for judges asking sexually explicit questions to a child.

The commission issued the notice over a 4-year-old video, where judges asked inappropriate questions to a child contestant, demanding its removal from all platforms.

Directive to stop inappropriate content

The child rights body further directed Sony TV to remove the episode from all platforms, advising against airing such content in the future.

Sony TY to soon file its reply

Per an Indian Express report, the channel and the production team will soon to filing a response to the notice sent by the child rights commission.

About 'Super Dancer 3'

'Super Dancer 3,' aired in 2019. It had Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Geeta Kapoor, and Anurag Basu as judges and Rithvik Dhanjani and Paritosh Tripathi as hosts.
