Kapoor's rule over Hindi television in the 2000s included multiple hit shows starting with the letter "K." Eg.: Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki.
Entry into films
Kapoor gradually ventured into production and filmmaking, starting with Govinda-led Kyo Kii... Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta in 2001.
Turning mentor for new actors
She launched many new faces, many of them from non-filmy families, like the late Sushant Singh Rajput in Pavitra Rishta or Karan Singh Grover in Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi.
Her achievements through numbers
Having produced over 130 Hindi soap operas, she was given the Most Powerful Woman in Indian Business Award. In 2020, she was felicitated with the Padma Shri.
