Deal

Reportedly, Khan first demanded a Rs. 150cr deal from the streaming giant, after which Netflix called it off. After several rounds of talks, the parties decided to sign the deal for Rs. 80-90cr.

The "Boycott Bollywood" trend and the "cancel culture" were the major reasons behind the failure of LSC in India. But the film was received well by the overseas audience.

Also starring Telugu star Naga Chaitanya in an extended cameo role, LSC was directed by Advait Chandan. It's the official Hindi remake of the Hollywood movie Forrest Gump.
