The year 2022 has been an amazing one for Indian cinema. But not for Bollywood. Now, the only Bollywood movie to enter IMDb's list of most popular Indian movies of 2022 is 'The Kashmir Files.'

Who topped the list?

The first place was taken by SS Rajamouli's 'RRR,' followed by 'The Kashmir Files,' Yash's 'KGF: Chapter 2,' Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram,' and Rishab Shetty's 'Kantara.'

Other positions

R Madhavan's 'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect' came sixth, followed by Adivi Sesh's 'Major,' Dulquer Salmaan's 'Sita Ramam,' Mani Ratnam's 'PS I,' and Rakshit Shetty's '777 Charlie.'

Why did this happen?

With #CancelCulture and #BoycottBollywood calls, the industry suffered. The comeback of Aamir Khan or the release of high-budget movies like 'Samrat Prithviraj' also didn't help.
