Sonakshi Sinha turned 36 on Friday. Here are five times when she shut down trolls for their nasty comments.

The selling 'skin for money' comment

Sinha slammed a Twitter user who accused her of selling "skin for money". The 'Dabanng' actor also found support from Varun Dhawan.

Trolled for meat ban

Sinha responded to trolls who criticized her for protesting against meat ban in 2015 on Twitter. "Welcome to Twitter. Where only trolls are allowed to have their say," she wrote.

Speak out against body-shaming

Sinha has frequently been attacked for her weight. She once uploaded a video on Instagram to call out her attackers.

When she deactivated Twitter

When she quit Twitter in 2020, she was trolled for it too. She later clarified that she did so to take away the power of trolls to insult and abuse her and her loved ones.

Sinha failed to answer a question on Ramayana in a TV show in 2019. Though she was trolled heavily, she had a snarky response to trolls, asking everyone to watch the epic on Doordarshan.
