Films that swept the Academy Awards 2023

At Oscars 2023, 'Everything Everywhere All at Once' clinched awards in seven out of the 11 categories it was nominated in. 'All Quiet on the Western Front' won four Oscars.

'EEAAO' won in Best Director, Best Film, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Actress, Best Film Editing, and Best Original Screenplay. The directors co-wrote the screenplay.

'AQOTWF'

'All Quiet on the Western Front' won Best International Feature Film, Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, and Best Music (Original Score). It's available on Netflix.

Other winners

Brendan Fraser won Best Actor for 'The Whale,' which also won Best Makeup and Hairstyling. 'Avatar 2' and 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' won Best Visual Effects and Best Costume Design respectively.

Indian winners

'RRR's song 'Naatu Naatu' won the Best Original Song while 'The Elephant Whisperers' clinched the award for Best Documentary Short. This is unprecedented for Indian cinema.
