Khan's directorial debut, 'Apradh' (1972), showcased auto-racing in Germany, a feat achieved despite limited technology back then.

'Dharmatma' (1975), inspired by 'The Godfather,' was the first Indian film shot in Afghanistan, elevating Khan's career as an actor and a director.

'Qurbani'

The musical romantic action thriller 'Qurbani' (1980) became the highest-grossing film of the year and launched Pakistani singer Nazia Hassan's career in India.

'Janbaaz'

'Janbaaz' (1986) gained attention for its intimate scenes, portrayal of drug addiction, and Sridevi's special appearance in the song 'Har kisi ko.'
