Manny Coto passes away

Emmy Award-winning writer-producer Manny Coto, known for his work on '24', passed away at 62 due to pancreatic cancer. He died at his Pasadena home on Sunday.

Family confirmed his death

Coto's passing was confirmed by a family representative on Monday, who stated he was surrounded by loved ones before he left for his heavenly abode.

He's survived by his wife

Coto is survived by his wife Robin, four children, mother Norma, sister Normi, and brother Juan Carlos, who called him an inspiration in life and craft.

Coto's works

Coto, renowned for 'American Horror Story,' and 'Dexter,' also contributed to 'Star Trek: Enterprise,' directed 'Feral' (2021), and created Fox's 'neXt' and 'Odyssey 5.'

Early days of Coto

Coto, born in Havana, grew up in Orlando. He started making horror films as a teenager and moved to Los Angeles in 1983 to work in TV commercials.
