Succession

The popular HBO drama, yet again, managed
to awe the jury with a total of 25 nominations,
the highest by any show this year. To recall,
it had clinched eight Emmys in 2020.

Squid Game

South Korean survival drama bagged a record
14 nominations—the maximum nods earned by
a non-English show. Some of these categories
included Best Drama and Best Writing and
Direction.

Zendaya

The 25-year-old actor-singer scripted history
as the youngest producing nominee and the
youngest two-time lead acting nominee ever
for Euphoria Season 2.

Ted Lasso

Apple TV+'s beloved comedy-drama sparkled in the Comedy category and picked up a total of 20 nominations, continuing on its winning streak.

Posthumous considerations

Chadwick Boseman, who passed away in 2020,
was nominated posthumously for lending his
voice to T'Challa in What If....? Tragically, this
is his first Emmy consideration.
