Lead actor Michelle Yeoh took home the award for Best Actress. With this win, she became the first Asian person to win an award in this category.

The film won in the categories of Best Original Screenplay and Best Editing. Actors Ke Huy Quan and Jamie Lee Curtis won the Best Supporting Actor awards.
