'Brahmastra' becomes first Indian film to release in Taiwan's Imax

Feat

'Brahmastra: Part One—Shiva' was released on the Imax screens in Taiwan on Friday. With this, the film has become the first Indian movie to ever be released on Taiwan's Imax screens.

Film

Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Dharma Productions, the film was released on September 9 amid huge expectations. And even on its opening day, the film saw a smash hit at the box office.

Box office

After a streak of duds in Bollywood, 'Brahmastra' came as a much-needed megahit venture and minted over Rs. 250cr with its Hindi version alone. Now it can be expected to rule Taiwan BO.

OTT

The second and third parts of the trilogy are on the cards. If you missed it in theaters, the film is available for streaming on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar in several languages.
