Having been in the making for years, 'Brahmastra' finally premiered this month. Besides Alia and Ranbir, it features an ensemble cast. Its success is a much-needed nudge for Bollywood.
'Brahmastra' touched the Rs. 360cr mark after 10 days of release. While it has fetched more than Rs. 200cr at the domestic box office, the rest is from the international collection.
On Monday, an overwhelmed director Ayan Mukerji took to social media and penned an emotional note. Thanking fans, Mukerji said he was getting ready to start working on the sequels soon.
Speaking to a portal, Mukerji revealed they plan to "shoot parts 2 and 3 together so that we don't delay the films." 'Brahmastra' is part of India's first cinematic universe—Astraverse.
