Dev Joshi, actor-turned-Moon traveler

Intro

Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa announced the list of eight crew members who will be joining him on a journey around the Moon on a SpaceX rocket. Amongst these is Indian actor Dev Joshi.

Announcement

On Thursday, Joshi took to Instagram to share the phenomenal news with his fans and followers. He wrote, "I can't express myself in words, but the feeling is beyond anything..."

Career

The 22-year-old hails from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and in addition to gaining fame with the show 'Baal Veer,' the prolific actor has acted in over 20 Gujarati movies and several advertisements.

Achievements

He also starred in 'Baalveer Returns,' 'Mahima Shani Dev Ki,' and 'Hamari Devrani.' In 2019, he was felicitated with the PM Rashtriya Bal Shakti Puraskar by President Ramnath Kovind.

Apart from Joshi, American DJ Steve Aoki, Czech artist Yemi AD, and K-pop musician TOP, among others, have been chosen for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
