'Avatar 2' impresses with pre-booking

Intro

Director James Cameron's 'Avatar: The Way of Water' saw a record advance booking in India. The film reportedly earned a nett booking of Rs. 10 crore and that also 10 days before the release.

Feat

The film broke Marvel movies' advance booking record in India. It surpassed 'Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.' This had also collected Rs. 10cr net but nine days before its release.

Buzz

'The Way of Water' has had a kick-start with advance bookings. The most interesting thing is that the movie has quite a buzz in the Southern states of India which was not the case back in 2009.

Release date

The much-awaited sequel of 'Avatar' (2009) will be released on December 16, 2022. It will be released in many Indian languages like Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
