A video of AR Rahman and his wife Saira Banu from an awards show in Chennai is now viral on social media. The clip shows Rahman talking about how his wife loves his voice.

After Rahman was done speaking, the anchor asked Rahman's wife to speak. Before Banu could speak, Rahman told her in Tamil: "Don't talk in Hindi, speak in Tamil.

Banu apologized to the audience for not being able to speak fluently in Tamil. While speaking in English, she said that she fell in love with his voice.

The couple has been married since 1995 and has three children - Khatija, Raheema, and Ameen.
