Late veteran actor Surekha Sikri's acting prowess has been a result of numerous brilliant films she delivered throughout her career.

'Kissaa Kursee Kaa'

The late veteran actress played a supporting role in filmmaker Amrit Nahata's banned political satire movie 'Kissaa Kursee Kaa'.

'Tamas'

Sikri won her first National Award for Best Supporting Role in Govind Nihalani's 1998 film 'Tamas', where she played Rajo.

'Mammo'

She won her second National Award for Best Actress in Supporting Role for the 1994 movie 'Mammo', directed by Shyam Benegal. It starred Farida Jalal in the titular character.

'Parinati'

'Parinati' is a 1986 film directed by Prakash Jha, based on Rajasthani folklore and a book by Vijaydan Detha. Starring Nandita Das and Sikri, it tells the story of a potter man and his family.

Sikri's third National Award came for her role as Ayushmann Khurrana's grandmother in the 2018 film 'Badhaai Ho'.
