UK's 4-day workweek trial a success

Four-day workweek trial in UK successful

The University of Cambridge conducted a four-day workweek trial with 61 companies in the UK. Results showed that 39% of employees felt less stressed, 48% reported higher job satisfaction, and 60% found it easier to maintain a work-life balance.

Enhanced Workplace Benefits

The trial improved employee productivity, job satisfaction, and work-life balance. It also saw unchanged or higher revenues.

International Trials Conducted

Similar trials have been conducted in other countries such as Iceland, Spain, Scotland, Ireland, New Zealand, and Japan. UK is not the exception.

Workforce Diversity Tested

The trial involved employees from various industries, including retail, hospitality, and finance. However, those working as first responders could not be included.

Many parties involved in research

The trial was conducted by a research team from the University of Cambridge, Boston College, the '4 Day Week Global' nonprofit community, and Autonomy.
