TCS Q4 results: Profit jumps 14.8%

TCS Q4 profit up

Tata Consultancy Services' (TCS) Q4 net profit rose 14.76% YoY to Rs.11,392 crore. This is the last update under outgoing CEO Rajesh Gopinathan.

Revenue increased

TCS reported a total income of Rs. 59,162 crore in Q4 with a YoY increase of Rs. 8,571 crore. In FY23, revenue rose by 17.6% YoY to Rs. 2.25 lakh crore.

Net margin boosted

The company's net margin increased to 19.3% in Q4, while its operating margin remained at 24.5%. It also declared a final dividend of Rs. 24 per share.

Headcount addition declined

TCS added 22,600 employees in FY23, a 78% decline from the previous year. The company added 821 employees in the last quarter.

Attrition dips

TCS's IT services attrition rate decreased to 20.1% on an LTM basis, down from 21.3% in the previous quarter.
