Realme hits 200M smartphone shipments

Realme has shipped more than 200 million phones in just over five years, making it the fifth-fastest company to reach this milestone.

The majority of these sales occurred outside China, with the company taking three years to reach 100 million and two more to surpass 200 million.

Overall, just 14 companies worldwide have shipped over 200 million phones so far.

By 2024, Realme plans a 470% increase in R&D spending, focusing on imaging, gaming, display, and charging technologies.
