Jio plans with free Netflix subscription

Jio-Netflix partnership

Reliance Jio, India's leading telecom operator, has partnered with Netflix to offer prepaid mobile plans bundled with the latter's streaming service.

Prepaid plans inclusion

Up until now, Netflix subscriptions were only available with Jio's postpaid and broadband plans.

New plans

The new prepaid plans, priced at Rs. 1,099 and Rs. 1,499, have a validity of 84 days and offer unlimited voice calls and unlimited 5G data.

Benefits

The Rs. 1,099 plan includes 2GB of data per day and a free Netflix mobile plan subscription, which is priced at Rs. 149 per month.

The second plan, priced at Rs. 1,499, provides 3GB of data per day and complimentary access to Netflix Basic plan, which costs Rs. 199 per month.

This partnership aims to broaden Netflix's subscriber base in the Indian market and underscores Reliance Jio's efforts to outpace its rivals.
