Bharti Airtel has announced that it has rolled out 5G Plus in as many as 3,000 Indian cities. Users can access unlimited 5G internet using their existing data plans, without needing a new plan.

Airtel has rapidly expanded its fifth-generation connectivity to all major urban and rural cities in India from Katra in Jammu and Kashmir to Kannur in Kerala.

Airtel's 5G Plus is now available in several Indian states including Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Sikkim, Rajasthan, Punjab, Karnataka, Odisha, Chattisgarh, Nagaland, Jammu and Kashmir, and more.

How to activate?
If you want to configure your mobile network to Airtel's 5G Plus. Go to Settings > Mobile Network > Prefered Network Type, and select 5G. You're all set now.

Roadmap
Airtel hopes to cover every town and key rural area in India by September 2023 and the whole nation by March 2024. The telco has already reached the 10 million subscriber mark for its 5G network.
