Yamaha issues a recall in India

Massive recall

Yamaha has announced a massive voluntary recall of over three lakh units of its 125cc hybrid scooters due to a front brake lever issue.

Affected models

The affected models include the RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid and Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid, manufactured between January 2022 and January 2024.

Faulty brake levers

The faulty front brake levers may not function correctly and could get stuck, potentially causing accidents.

Free replacement

Yamaha will replace the faulty levers at no cost to customers, who can check their eligibility on Yamaha India's website.
