Krupski reported instances of 'phantom braking' in Tesla vehicles, causing concern for the safety of autonomous driving technology.

The Dutch Data Protection Authority is investigating the data breach, while Krupski has received a whistleblowing prize for his actions.

Tesla's autopilot system is under investigation by the US Department of Justice and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

UK's Automated Vehicles Bill

Meanwhile, the UK government has introduced an Automated Vehicles Bill to establish a legal framework for self-driving cars in the country.
