What to expect from the Aprilia RS 440

Aprilia RS 440 in the works

Aprilia is all set to take the wraps off the all-new RS 440 on September 7 for the global markets. It will be an entry-level model for the brand.

Design

The middleweight supersport will flaunt a sculpted fuel tank, a full fairing, a signature tri-headlamp setup with DRLs, an upright windscreen, a clip-on handlebar, and a sleek LED taillight.

Performance

Technical details of the upcoming Aprilia bike are yet to be announced by the bikemaker. However, we expect it to feature an all-new 440cc, twin-cylinder engine with a power output of around 45hp.

Safety

Disc brakes on both wheels, dual-channel ABS, inverted forks on the front side, and a mono-shock unit at the rear will ensure the rider's safety on the RS 440.

Expectation

RS 440 is expected to be priced at Rs. 4.5 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. This will position it as a competitor against the KTM RC 390 and Kawasaki Ninja 400.
