Volvo EX30 goes official globally

Swedish automaker Volvo has introduced its EX30 subcompact all-electric SUV. Bookings are now open in the US market. It starts at $34,950 (around Rs. 29 lakh).

Design

Volvo EX30 features a lengthy hood, a closed-off grille, Thor's hammer LED headlights with DRLs, flared wheel arches with 18/19-inch alloy wheels, bold 'VOLVO' lettering, and connected taillamps.

Performance

Volvo EX30 is offered with a 268hp/343Nm electric motor linked to either a 49kWh or 64kWh battery pack, and a twin-motor setup (422hp/543N) with a 64kWh battery. It promises a range of up to 442.5km.

Interiors

Volvo EX30 gets a minimalist five-seater cabin, featuring a soundbar that covers the entire upper half of the dashboard, ambient lighting, a digital key, and a freestanding infotainment panel.

Pricing

In the US market, the Volvo EX30 subcompact SUV carries a starting price tag of $34,950 (approximately Rs. 29 lakh). Pre-orders for the SUV have also begun.
