German automaker Volkswagen has launched a special 'Sound Edition' Taigun SUV in India, with prices starting at Rs. 16.33 lakh (ex-showroom).

Offered in four distinct colors (Carbon Steel Gray, Rising Blue, Lava Red, and Wild Cherry Red), this limited edition features unique badges and graphics.

The Taigun Sound Edition also includes power-adjustable front seats and a seven-speaker audio system with a subwoofer and amplifier.

Powerful engine

Powered by a 1.0-liter TSI petrol engine, it delivers 115hp of power and 175Nm of torque, with transmission options for a six-speed manual or automatic gearbox.

Pricing and variants

In India, the Topline MT variant is priced at Rs. 16.33 lakh, while the Topline AT trim sports a price figure of Rs. 17.90 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom).
