TVS e-scooter arrives in August

BMW CE 02-based TVS EV arriving soon

TVS Motor Company is gearing up to unveil an all-new performance-focused electric scooter for the global markets. It will likely be based on the BMW CE 02.

Design

TVS' upcoming e-scooter may feature a slim profile, LED headlamp, raised handlebar, visor, single-piece seat, floating rear fender, 3.5-inch TFT console, and 14-inch alloy wheels.

Performance

The upcoming TVS e-scooter may feature a mid-mounted electric motor (15hp/55Nm) and battery pack from the BMW CE 02, offering a riding range of up to 90km on a single charge.

Safety

TVS' BMW CE 02-based e-scooter will have disc brakes, dual-channel ABS, regenerative braking, traction control, riding modes, telescopic front forks, and a rear mono-shock suspension.

Launch timeline

TVS Motor Company is set to reveal a BMW CE 02-based e-scooter for the global market on August 23. The launch event and pricing details are expected in India around the festive season.
