Triumph-Bajaj roadster headed for India

Triumph and Bajaj Auto are developing a new roadster motorcycle to be launched in India by 2023-end. Now, its production-ready test model has been spotted with spoked wheels and crash guards. It will get a liquid-cooled engine.

Rivals

Triumph and Bajaj Auto are set to launch an affordable roadster bike, which will compete against rivals such as Zontes GK350, Honda CB300R, and BMW G 310 R.

Design

The upcoming Triumph-Bajaj roadster will have a muscular fuel tank, an all-LED lighting setup, a digital instrument cluster, a single-piece seat, and wire-spoked or alloy rims.

Engine

The Triumph-Bajaj roadster will feature a 350-400cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that will generate around 37.5hp of power and 30Nm of torque. There is no information on the gearbox yet.

Price

The pricing and availability details of the Triumph-Bajaj roadster will be disclosed at the time of its launch. However, in India, the bike should sport a price figure of around Rs. 2.25 lakh (ex-showroom).
