Toyota relaunches Land Cruiser 70

Iconic Toyota Land Cruiser 70 returns

First launched in 1984 and discontinued in 2004, Toyota has re-introduced the legendary Land Cruiser 70 in international markets.

Design

The 2024 Land Cruiser 70 features a fender-mounted mirror, an old-school solution for blind spots. Toyota's in-house tuner Modellista offers yellow-colored LED fog lamps and other accessories.

Performance

In Japan, the revived 70 Series Land Cruiser is available exclusively as a six-door SUV with a 2.8-liter, turbo-diesel engine that produces 201hp of power and 500Nm of torque.

Interiors

On the inside, the bare-bone SUV gets a minimalist black-colored dashboard, an aftermarket touchscreen infotainment panel, fabric upholstery, manual AC with circular air vents, and multiple airbags.

Pricing

Toyota is yet to disclose the pricing of the iconic Land Cruiser 70 model. We expect the 1980s-inspired rugged model to carry a premium over the previously discontinued version from 2004.
