Tata Curvv to get a diesel powertrain

Curvv's diesel variant

Tata Motors plans to launch a diesel variant of its Curvv coupe-SUV, alongside electric and petrol versions.

The diesel engine will likely be the 1.5-liter unit found in the Nexon, offering 115hp of power and 260Nm of torque.

Production

Production of the Tata Curvv coupe-SUV is set to begin in April at Tata's Ranjangaon facility near Pune, Maharashtra.

The company aims to sell around 48,000 units of the Tata Curvv, with 12,000 being electric versions.
