Simple One e-scooter launching on May 23

Details

Bengaluru-based Simple Energy has disclosed the launch date of the One electric scooter in India. The EV is scheduled to officially arrive on our shores on May 23. It will be offered in two trims.

Scenario

Simple Energy revealed One e-scooter's price in India in March 2022. The vehicle features a futuristic design, a capable powertrain, and removable batteries. It has bagged around 30,000 pre-bookings.

Design

The Simple One e-scooter will sit on a tubular frame and feature an apron-mounted LED, a flat footboard, a flush-fitted side stand, a single-piece seat, 12-inch alloys, and a 7.0-inch touchscreen.

Safety

The Simple One will be equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels, along with a Combined Braking System (CBS) and regenerative braking for better braking performance.

More

The Simple One will be backed by a 4.5kW PMS electric motor linked to two battery packs with a combined capacity of 6.4kWh. The EV has a claimed range of up to 300km.
