Himalayan clinches 2024 IMOTY award

The Royal Enfield Himalayan won the 2024 Indian Motorcycle Of The Year (IMOTY) title, outperforming rivals like the Harley Davidson X440 and KTM 390 Duke.

A panel of 14 auto experts judged the bikes on various factors, including price, fuel efficiency, safety, and suitability for Indian roads.

Triumph Scrambler 400X takes second spot

The Triumph Scrambler 400X secured second place, while the KTM 390 Duke came third. Other contenders were Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, Triumph Scrambler 400X, and TVS Apache RTR 310.

RE Himalayan's highlights

Royal Enfield's revamped Himalayan features a new Sherpa 450 engine and a steel twin-spar tubular frame chassis. The mill produces 39.5hp of power and 40Nm of torque.
