Taigun, Virtus get price hike

Volkswagen has increased prices for its Taigun and Virtus models in India, following a previously confirmed plan to raise prices by up to 2% in 2024.

The Virtus sedan now falls in the Rs. 11.56-19.41 lakh price bracket, while the Taigun mid-size SUV ranges between Rs. 11.70 lakh and Rs. 20 lakh.

Both vehicles feature stylish exteriors, all-LED lighting, and well-equipped interiors with touchscreen infotainment systems.

The Virtus offers a choice of a 1.0-liter TSI petrol engine or a 1.5-liter TSI mill, while the Taigun comes with either a 1.0-liter TSI turbo-petrol engine or a 1.5-liter TSI EVO turbo-petrol motor.
