Ather 450S gets a price cut

Ather Energy has reduced the price of its entry-level 450S electric scooter by Rs. 20,000, now costing Rs. 1,09,999 (without the Pro Pack).

Design

Ather 450S flaunts an angular body with an apron-mounted LED headlight, a flush-fitted side stand, a sleek LED taillamp, 12-inch alloy wheels, and a 7.0-inch "DeepView" LCD display.

Performance

The EV draws power from a 5.4kW mid-mounted electric motor that is linked to a 2.9kWh battery pack. It promises a range of up to 115km on a single charge.

Safety

For rider safety, the Ather 450S has disc brakes on both wheels, along with a combined braking system (CBS), telescopic front forks, and a rear mono-shock unit.

Pricing

With competition heating up in the electric scooter market in India, Ather Energy has lowered the price of the 450S by Rs. 20,000. The EV now costs Rs. 1,09,999 (without the Pro Pack).
