New Citroen SUV arriving on April 27

Citroen's new SUV on the way

Citroen will unveil its C3-based SUV, designed and engineered in India, on April 27. It may feature design cues from the C3 hatchback and a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine.

Design

The Citroen C3-based SUV will feature halogen headlamps, LED DRLs, and other features. Meanwhile, the Kia Carens has a muscular bonnet and LED headlights with split-style DRLs.

Interior

The Citroen C3-based SUV should get auto climate control, USB charging ports, dual airbags, ABS, EBD, and a multifunctional steering wheel. The Carens offers a minimalist dashboard, an air purifier, and a sunroof.

Engine

The Citroen SUV will run on a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine generating 108.4hp power and 190Nm torque, whereas the Carens offers three engine options coupled with three different transmission types.

Price

The Citroen C3-based SUV is tipped to carry a price tag of around Rs. 10-15 lakh. Meanwhile, the Kia Carens falls in the price bracket of Rs. 10.45-18.95 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom).
