Mitsubishi has launched the 40th Anniversary Special Edition of Outlander in the US, with a starting price of $41,340. It is available in ICE and PHEV avatars.

Design

The Mitsubishi Outlander 40th Anniversary Special Edition sports a sculpted hood, a black grille, bumper-mounted LED headlights with split-type DRLs, and fog lights with C-shaped surrounds.

Engine

Mitsubishi Outlander 40th Anniversary Edition runs on a 2.5-liter petrol engine that makes 181hp, and a 248hp, PHEV setup with a 2.4-liter, inline-four mill linked to two electric motors.

Interior

Mitsubishi Outlander 40th Anniversary Edition has a cabin with semi-aniline leather upholstery, a sunroof, a Bose sound system, a 9.0-inch floating-type infotainment panel, and 11 airbags.
