Mercedes-Benz EQG to arrive soon

Mercedes-Benz will showcase its EQG concept SUV at the 2024 Bharat Mobility Expo, alongside the AMG GLE 53 and updated GLA SUVs.

Design

The all-electric EQG features several design updates such as a 3D star-patterned panel, custom 22-inch wheels, and a storage box instead of a spare wheel carrier.

Performance

Under the hood, the EQG concept comes with four individually controllable wheel-mounted electric motors and a two-speed gearbox offering low-range and high-range gearing.

Interiors

While interior details are yet to be finalized for the EQG concept, we expect it to carry forward the design from the ICE-powered G-Class model, albeit with modern elements from the EQ lineup.

Expectation

The all-electric EQG is slated to hit the Indian market later this year, along with several other new Mercedes-Benz models. We expect the car to carry a hefty premium over its ICE-powered sibling.
