Japanese automaker Yamaha is set to launch its R3 and MT-03 models in India on December 15, with deliveries starting by the end of the month.

Rivals
Both motorcycles will be available at select Blue Square dealerships in over 100 cities, competing with the KTM 390 Duke, BMW G 310 R, and Kawasaki Ninja 300.

Changes
Now equipped with inverted front forks and a mono-shock rear unit, the R3 returns after its BS4 era presence, while the MT-03 makes its Indian debut.

Engine
The Yamaha R3 and MT-03 feature a 321cc, parallel-twin engine producing 42hp of power and 29.5Nm of torque, housed in a diamond-type frame.

Pricing
Official pricing will be revealed during the launch event, but they are expected to be on the higher end as they will initially be imported as CBUs rather than CKDs.
