Lamborghini sells three models in India priced from Rs. 3-9 crore. It sold 92 cars in 2022 and targets a three-digit sales figure this year. India's contribution to global sales in 2022 was only 1%.

Taxes in India
India imposes a base 28% GST rate and an additional 1-22% cess on automobiles. Fully imported cars are subject to customs duty of 60-100%.

Lamborghini unscathed
Winkelmann, suggests that the company has not been impactedby global inflation and recessionary trends, with solid markets in China and around the world. Lamborghini is however working on ways to strengthen its supply chain.
