Kia EV9 to debut in March

Kia EV9 to be revealed in March

Kia Motors is set to reveal the production-ready version of its first full-size electric SUV, the EV9, in March. It was first showcased at the 2021 Los Angeles Motor Show.

Design

The Kia EV9 will feature a muscular clamshell bonnet, a signature digital tiger nose grille, an all-LED lighting setup, cameras in place of ORVMs, designer wheels, and silvered skid plates.

Performance

The Kia EV9 will support an 800V electrical architecture with fast-charging capabilities. It is expected to get a 64kWh battery. The EV will deliver a range of over 450km.

Interiors

The Kia EV9 will feature a spacious cabin made using sustainably-sourced materials. It will get a yoke-style steering wheel, two large screens, multiple airbags, and ADAS functions.

Price

Kia Motors is expected to showcase the upcoming EV9 e-SUV, sometime in March. The pricing and availability details of the EV should be announced soon by the South Korean carmaker.
