Kia EV9 to arrive in India in 2024

Kia EV9's India launch timeline revealed

South Korean automaker Kia Motors has announced that it will introduce the EV9 in India next year. The EV made its global debut in March this year.

Design

Kia EV9 has a typical boxy silhouette associated with an SUV and features a clamshell bonnet, a digital tiger nose grille, cameras in place of ORVMs, designer wheels, and vertical LED taillamps.

Performance

Kia EV9 packs an electric motor that generates 215hp/350Nm with a 76.1kWh battery and 201hp/350Nm with a 99.8kWh battery pack. The former delivers 358km of range, while the latter promises 541km.

Interiors

The Kia EV9 has a six/seven-seater cabin with a dual-tone dashboard, a two-spoke steering wheel, a glass roof, reclining seats in the middle row, ADAS functions, and a dual 12.3-inch screen setup.

Pricing

The pricing and availability details of the Kia EV9 in India will be disclosed at the time of its launch in 2024. However, we expect it to carry a price tag of around Rs. 80 lakh (ex-showroom).
